Emalyn:
She is now 22 months (in 10 days) and weighs ~23 lbs. and is ~32 inches tall. She is speaking more and it is cute to hear her little language. Emalyn likes to draw on her draw & erase table but LOVES to draw on herself. I caught her red handed today - literally. She put her own shoes on all by herself today, and she has figured out how to use a spoon correctly! She still loves her little brother very much. She calls him bae-E-am - all one word (Baby Liam). She has also started doing the sign for eat. I think she is grateful to be able to communicate that better. She loves to get out of trouble with a big puckered lips kiss, and it usually works too. She's a kiss-up already! Like Daddy, like Daughter! haha.

Liam:
He is almost 4 months (in 10 days) and weighs ~15 lbs. and is ~ 26 inches long. He is our "snack-pack" as Doug has nicknamed him. He is a big guy, especially in terms of a Kaufman. However, he has a lot of Simpson in him (and on him - look at those hands and head!). Well he loves to speak in his own little man language with an occasional laugh and squeal. He loves his pacifier ("paci") and his mommy. :) I call him 'Smiley' most the time cause he is just that - a smiley guy. He can fart with the best of 'em (another Simpson trait) and always needs to be burped. He is trying to figure out rolling over from his back but so far just ends up on his side and that's the extent of it. He loves to watch his big sister play even though he gets nervous when she tries to walk around him. He is an awesome sleeper. He goes down around 8:30 p.m. and wakes up at 4 a.m. and again at 7:30. I can handle that! He is a morning person too. He jabbers away, happy as a lark, and plays with his little lion that hangs on the side of his crib. What a cute little man!!
